I really love working out when I feel good(weird, I know)! You have energy, you feel strong, and everything is just better! And today was one of those days, so I'm crossing my fingers that I can keep this momentum going throughout the rest of my day.
This WOD was good, my legs definitely began to feel the burn by the third round! Coach Paul in his efforts to help me improve my wallball form had me put a ball under my hiney to make sure I was squatting down deep to get more drive out of my legs on my last round of wallballs. It's encouraging though, because, there is ALWAYS something to improve. Nothing is as simple as it seems and you can ALWAYS DO SOMETHING BETTER. Someone needs to write a book and call it "The Tao of CrossFit" and be a millionaire(with respect to royalty payments to me) because there are tons of life lessons to be learned everyday in that "big BOX of knowledge." So I'll just keep chipping away, one lesson and one bead of sweat at a time and who knows what I'll improve and what else I'll learn along the way? One thing I do know for sure, I'm excited to find out!
CrossFit Joke of the...(well, until I think of another one)
A Crossfitter is standing in the checkout line at the local grocery store. As he is waiting to check out he notices the man in front of him is wearing a CrossFit t-shirt. He points out the man's shirt and says,"Nice CrossFit shirt. So, you drank the CrossFit Kool-Aid too, huh?"
The other man turns around with a bewildered look on his face and says, "Kool-Aid? No... I'm Paleo."
