Where to start... This WOD gave me anxiety all night long! I had the day off, and was just going to spend it with Autumn and then take Carlie and the girls to the box with me when she got off of work, but having a WOD this size hanging over my head was going to give me a panic attack so I broke down, stuffed Autumn in the car, and we were off to the box!
Friday's Nightmare WOD.... (Killer)"Kelly"
(5x)
30 Wall Balls (20#-10′/14#-9′)
30 Box jumps (24″/20″)
400m run
Micah(27:13)RX
This WOD has been by far the LONGEST and most challenging one I've ever had to do. After making it only halfway through the second round I began to wonder, "How the hell am I going to make it through this?!" And that's when it got harder. I even fell off of my box trying to jump on it. Thankfully for me I had Daryl by my side keeping me focused on the big picture, and pushing me to keep going. Finally, I just began taking things in sets of tens, and slowly, minute by excruciating minute, I chipped this thing away. I was breathless, drenched in sweat and could barely walk by the end of this thing.
I have never met a WOD that I hated as bad as this monster. Kelly I hate you. I do not look forward to the time we meet again. But I guess that's what makes this CrossFit, and in turn what makes me a stronger person. Next time this WOD crosses my path, I'm going to kill it...
